Lead Dust Test

Lead dust according to the EPA & City of Philadelphia is the number one cause for childhood lead poisoning. Over time paint starts to crack, chip, peale & flake away where dust tends to formulate and spread. Children tend to inhale lead dust or put their hands in their mouth to ingest it.

Lead Soil Test

Air pollution and unregulated construction has caused lead in soil to soar. Contact with fine soil particles dragged into your home as fluttering dust is only one scenario. It can affect the food you grow in your garden & contaminate where your children play outside.

LEAD ABATEMENT

Lead abatement is the process to permanently eliminate lead dust and lead paint from a property which involves specialized techniques that general contractors typically do not have the training or licensure to perform. The EPA requires specific licensure in order to perform lead abatement projects.

Lead Paint Test

Lead based paint resides in majority of homes built prior to 1978. Exposure to lead paint chips either eating or playing with the debris can be harmful. Everyone is at risk. If disturbed by renovation the dust during or after construction can resonate in a home. This scenario is a silent trap for new tenants or homeowners moving into a renovated property.

Lead Water Test

Lead can seep into your tap water if the service line that connects your home to the water main has lead pipes or brass fixtures. Your drinking & cooking water is important. This test will determine if your water meets EPA safety limits and give you the relife your family needs.

LEAD REMEDATION

Lead remedation is the process of reducing lead exposure and lead hazards from properties, but does not permantely remove lead dust and lead paint from a property and still requires specialized licensure from the EPA.

Lead Safe Painting image.jpg

(EPA) - Common renovation, repair, and painting activities that disturb lead-based paint (like sanding, cutting, replacing windows, and more) can create hazardous lead dust and chips which can be harmful to adults and children. Home repairs that create even a small amount of lead dust are enough to poison your child and put your family at risk. For more information
